Since 2016, Chris’ Slow Roll has taken place in Milwaukee, bringing together people of all ages for a day of fun and community building on bikes! Named after Chris Kegel, long-time owner of Wheel & Sprocket bike shops, the Chris Kegel Foundation continues his legacy in a big way. The CKF aims to inspire all types of people to ride bikes through awesome events and by supporting transformative projects, in hopes that we all live in a world where everyone enjoys their ride on a bicycle. We believe that bike-friendly communities are better places to live and are proud to continue his work for years to come.
This year, the 10th annual Slow Roll will take place on September 21st, 2025 on Milwaukee’s scenic lakefront. The route will follow one of the most iconic bike trails in Milwaukee-- the Oak Leaf Trail, and starts and ends with a big party at the Milwaukee War Memorial. We would like to invite you to become one of our sponsors for this year’s event. Your support will help fund our major initiatives:
Improved Trail Signage with Milwaukee County Parks - bike & hike friendly
Bike Park for Kids in Milwaukee’s Inner City(31st & Galena)- provide access to safe riding in underserved areas
Southern Kettle Moraine Trail School - teaching kids to build & maintain trails
Installation of CKF Bike Racks & Fix It Stands
As a sponsor, you will receive positive attention from the Chris Kegel Foundation’s media platforms as well as an event presence (depending on your sponsorship level). With over 1,250 in attendance last year, your company will gain sizable impressions throughout the signup process and the ride itself. This event gives you the opportunity to get your business or organization involved in an expertly-organized bike event and access to an engaged community.
PLATINUM: $5,000 - all Gold Level benefits plus: Logo on T-shirts, branding of the secret bar stop halfway along the ride, shared media opportunities, 20 total Free VIP Packages, and any other creative branding opportunities your organization would like to implement!
GOLD: $1,000 - all Silver Level benefits plus: signage on barricades & stage, 2 feature social media stories, 4 newsletters and 10 total Free VIP packages
SILVER: $500 - all Bronze Level benefits plus: onsite slow roll presence, logo on posters & signage, 3 newsletters and 5 Free VIP packages
BRONZE: $100 - logo placement on Chris Kegel Foundation website, 2 newsletter and announcements at day of presentation
Your sponsorship allows us to keep this 10-mile, family friendly event free of cost to our participants. Nowhere else can you find a ride of this caliber with such an inclusive structure. All folks have to do is show up with a bike, and we provide a memorable experience that keeps our ride growing!
